AN ORMSKIRK couple are masterminds behind a new £2m trampoline and activity park which is set to open this summer.

Flip Out, the world’s biggest trampoline park operator, have announced the opening of the 46,000 sq ft arena promised to be the biggest in Merseyside.

Not only will there be trampolines, but Flip Out’s main arena will include a 85ft horizontal climbing wall, a wipeout zone, battle beams, a laser maze, cyber towers for vertical races between friends and a huge free-running area. It will be located in Aintree. Entrepreneurs Gobind and Hardip Sohal from Ormskirk are the masterminds behind the concept.

Gobind said: “This is a first for Merseyside and sees Aintree welcoming jumpers of a different kind.

“It’s the perfect location blending the fun of a traditional trampoline arena with the excitement of an activity and adventure park.

“Flip Out Aintree is the first arena of its kind on Merseyside and will appeal to all the family, offering everything from performance trampolines to a whole zone dedicated to children and soft play for toddlers.

“We’re looking to work with local schools and other community organisations to give them the opportunity to use Flip Out as a place to exercise, socialise and have fun.”

The couple promised that Flip Out Aintree will also include a café, free wifi and four party rooms which can also be used as break-out rooms for corporate events.
