School joins Beth’s gym programme

-

WORLD Champion and Olympic medallist Beth Tweddle MBE has announced that Maghull High School will be the newest venue to offer her gymnastics programme for children aged four and over.

Beth’s company, Total Gymnastics Academies – which is in partnership and registered with British Gymnastics – provides lessons to more than 3,500 children a week in local schools and leisure centres around the UK.

Because of the demand for lessons led by expert coaches in the area, this new venue means that fewer children will miss out on the opportunity to experience gymnastics.

Beth set up Total Gymnastics Academies in 2010, combining her expertise and enthusiasm for gymnastics into an outstanding programme, which is dedicated to teaching children the best techniques from first-class coaches.

She is passionate about getting children involved with gymnastics and to experience the many benefits the sport has to offer, including improving health, wellbeing and overall confidence.

She said: “I’m so proud to be opening a new venue and giving even more children the opportunity to experience gymnastics, where they can have fun and learn new skills like leadership, resilience and determination.

“Maghull High School is a fantastic facility – not just because it’s in Liverpool, which is where it all started for me, but because it will allow us to introduce our Total Gymnastics programme to a whole new area of young people.

“We’re all so excited about this next step.”
