All the fun of the fair at school event

EV­ERY­ONE is in­vited to the an­nual sum­mer fair at Pin­fold Pri­mary School in Scaris­brick this week­end.

The event takes place this Satur­day (June 16) at Scaris­brick Vil­lage Hall be­tween 1pm and 4pm.

This year it will have a car­ni­val theme in hon­our of the head teacher, Gill Gil­li­son, who is re­tir­ing in the sum­mer af­ter more than 15 years in charge.

The fair raises much needed ex­tra funds for all the chil­dren.

The fair will fea­ture live mu­sic from Sha Bang, Ethan Allen, Livvy K, Orm­skirk Ukulele, to men­tion just a few.

There will also be per­for­mances from Base Dance and Big Brenda The­atre.

There will be plenty of prizes to be won in the raf­fle, in­clud­ing signed Liver­pool FC shirts, a Pangea ele­phant, Cham­pagne af­ter­noon tea at the Vin­cent ho­tel, signed Tony Bellew box­ing gloves, a fam­ily photo shoot from Matthew Ry­craft, ho­tel stays, fam­ily days out, chil­dren’s play­house and lots more.

Raf­fle tick­ets are avail­able be­fore­hand by call­ing 07961 768932 or buy them on the day for £1 a ticket.

There will be stalls and fun for all the fam­ily, in­clud­ing tra­di­tional games such as tombola, hoopla, and tin can al­ley, as well as bouncy cas­tles, a fam­ily sports gala and kids wa­ter play arena.

The Great Pin­fold Bake Off prize com­pe­ti­tion is open to all and will be judged by Ms Gil­li­son.

A bar­be­cue and li­censed bar will be serv­ing re­fresh­ments and there will be a gin bar, Pimms cock­tails, home­made cakes and a tuck shop.
