All the fun of the fair at school event
EVERYONE is invited to the annual summer fair at Pinfold Primary School in Scarisbrick this weekend.
The event takes place this Saturday (June 16) at Scarisbrick Village Hall between 1pm and 4pm.
This year it will have a carnival theme in honour of the head teacher, Gill Gillison, who is retiring in the summer after more than 15 years in charge.
The fair raises much needed extra funds for all the children.
The fair will feature live music from Sha Bang, Ethan Allen, Livvy K, Ormskirk Ukulele, to mention just a few.
There will also be performances from Base Dance and Big Brenda Theatre.
There will be plenty of prizes to be won in the raffle, including signed Liverpool FC shirts, a Pangea elephant, Champagne afternoon tea at the Vincent hotel, signed Tony Bellew boxing gloves, a family photo shoot from Matthew Rycraft, hotel stays, family days out, children’s playhouse and lots more.
Raffle tickets are available beforehand by calling 07961 768932 or buy them on the day for £1 a ticket.
There will be stalls and fun for all the family, including traditional games such as tombola, hoopla, and tin can alley, as well as bouncy castles, a family sports gala and kids water play arena.
The Great Pinfold Bake Off prize competition is open to all and will be judged by Ms Gillison.
A barbecue and licensed bar will be serving refreshments and there will be a gin bar, Pimms cocktails, homemade cakes and a tuck shop.
