Couple ready to bounce into action for summer launch
AN ORMSKIRK couple are to open a new £2m trampoline and adventure park this summer.
Flip Out, owned by Gobind and Hardip Sohal, will open at Aintree Racecourse Retail and Business Park in Liverpool and will be the biggest of its kind in Merseyside.
The walls are being decorated with graffiti murals of Liverpool’s most famous landmarks.
The artworks, some more than 20ft high, cover three of the main walls in the 46,000sq ft arena.
Gobind, of Flip Out Aintree, said: “We’re a couple of months into the build and the place is really starting to come together.
“The massive graffiti walls have a real wow factor and I think people will be impressed.
“Our mezzanine level is also coming together, which will contain a soft play area, party rooms and café offering great views across the arena.”
Flip Out Aintree will feature trampolines, battle beams, a laser maze, large free-running area, an 85ft horizontal climbing wall, wipeout zone and two 24ft cyber towers for climbing races.
Gobind said: “This is a first for Merseyside and sees Aintree welcoming jumpers of a different kind.
“It’s the perfect location blending the fun of a traditional trampoline arena with the excitement of an activity and adventure park.
“Flip Out Aintree is the first arena of its kind on Merseyside and will appeal to all the family, offering everything from performance trampolines to a whole zone dedicated to children and soft play for toddlers.”
