Community Link Foundation
DREAMING of a summer holiday? Want to splurge on summer clothes?
Or maybe you want an air con unit to get you through this heatwave!
Well, now could be your time as a local charity is looking for new members to sign up for it monthly lottery and there’s the chance to win £1,000 every month.
Community Link Foundation is now accepting new members to join its 600 Club, which is a lottery that it runs as a way of fundraising.
The charity, which covers Southport, Formby, Ormskirk, Burscough, Hesketh Bank, Rufford, Banks and the areas in between, gave out more than £50,000 in grants to people and organisations around the area in 2017.
By being a member of the lottery you will be helping Community Link Foundation to raise money that can be used to help people and organisations in the local area who have applied for funding.
Every month one member wins the main prize of £1,000 and an additional five people win £100.
The money that is not given out in winnings, is distributed to good causes in the local community.
It costs just £5 a month to join and this can be paid by standing order so it couldn’t be simpler.
Once you are signed up, the money is debited from your bank once a month and the charityy will inform you of who the winners are - and with numbers strictly restricted to 600 members there are pretty good odds on being a winner!
Grant applications and information on the process can be found on the CLF website.
All the information about the club and how to set up a standing order can be found on the website, www. clfoundation.co.uk.
