Bungling thieves dump scooter
BUNGLING burglars ditched a stolen scooter after failing to start the engine.
The vehicle was stolen from outside a house in Hesketh Avenue, Banks, only to be found the following morning by a member of the public.
It appears that the thieves could not get the scooter started and it was discovered damaged just a few hundred yards away in Hoole Lane.
