Professor shares thoughts on collapse of Soviet Union
PROFESSOR and director of Edge Hill’s Institute of Social Responsibility (ISR) Jo Crotty has shared her thoughts on the ramifications of the collapse of the Soviet Union in the latest episode of The Conversation’s Anthill podcast.
In part five of their “Recovery Series” Prof Crotty looks at the post-Soviet transition from communism to capitalism and draws parallels with current events focussing on the huge job losses and damage to the economy expected as a result of lockdown.
