Derby game is in prospect as FA ties are revealed
BURSCOUGH must make the trip to Cheshire after this week’s FA Cup draw was made.
The Extra Preliminary Round Draw saw Town come up against Congleton Town FC on or around Tuesday, September 1.
And if Burscough prevail, that would set up a local derby at home should Skelmersdale United come through against Penistone Church of South Yorkshire.
That fixture, in the Preliminary Round, would take place on Saturday, September 12 or thereabouts.
The Buildbase FA Vase draw was also made, with matches in the First Round Qualifying to be played on Saturday, September 19.
Burscough will take on Hallam at home, while Skem will play host to Stockport Town.
