Derby game is in prospect as FA ties are re­vealed

BURSCOUGH must make the trip to Cheshire af­ter this week’s FA Cup draw was made.

The Ex­tra Pre­lim­i­nary Round Draw saw Town come up against Con­gle­ton Town FC on or around Tues­day, Septem­ber 1.

And if Burscough pre­vail, that would set up a lo­cal derby at home should Skelmers­dale United come through against Peni­s­tone Church of South York­shire.

That fix­ture, in the Pre­lim­i­nary Round, would take place on Satur­day, Septem­ber 12 or there­abouts.

The Build­base FA Vase draw was also made, with matches in the First Round Qual­i­fy­ing to be played on Satur­day, Septem­ber 19.

Burscough will take on Hal­lam at home, while Skem will play host to Stock­port Town.

Con­gle­ton will host Burscough
