Easter fun for the kids

-

If you’re looking for a host of egg-cellent ways to entertain the kids this Easter then look no further than RSPB Lochwinnoch.

Outdoor activities like pond dipping and weekly Make Your Own Mondays events are back.

And self-led activities like a bear hunt and enjoying the new fairy trail are also popular.

This time of year is a great opportunity to witness a variety of birds singing their hearts out to attract a mate and gathering nesting material around the reserve.

Flowers are also pushing their way up through the soil, blossom and buds on the trees are blooming and unfurling and the reserve is transforming before everyone’s eyes.

The once-wintry landscape is changing in to a beautiful and colourful springtime spectacle.
