Buddies get ready for Braemont’s GotTalent

-

A Paisley care home is aiming to hit the high notes by inviting Express readers to join them for the inaugural Braemount’s Got Talent.

Braemount Care Home, in Donaldswood Road, Paisley, is encouraging residents, staff and people living in the local community to go along on Friday at 2pm.

Taking inspiration from the Eurovision Song Contest, the afternoon will have a European theme, but won’t only be for singers.

Mhairi Black, who is standing for election in the Paisley and Renfrewshire South constituency on June 8 in the General Election, will be on the judging panel.

Her fellow judges are home manager Rebecca Gallagher and Alice Hutchinson, who is the resident experience manager.

Fiona Glenn, activities coordinator, said:“The residents always enjoy some friendly competition, and can’t wait to show off their hidden talents

“Events like these really help our residents socialise and they love a singalong as well.”

Children from Nursery Times will be there on the day to treat the audience to a bit of singing .

Fiona added:“We are hoping members of the local community come along as well and take part.

“We always like to invite everyone along to our events to ensure our residents remain connected to the community.”

You will find the care home at 21 Donaldswood Road and anyone planning on going along should call Steven Drennan on 0141 884 1260 in advance – or just turn up on the day.
