Gleddoch’s ladies section have been soaking up the sun as the golf action rages on.

April served to be a good month weather wise, and the course conditions have made it a joy to play.

The April medal was won by Division One golfer Roisin Black with an excellent score of 77, and Mhairi Bryce won the Division Two title.

Other Competitions – April 5: The club stableford was won by Roisin Black.

April 22: Stableford Division One was won by Roisin Black, while Division Two seen Sheena Wallace take the title with an eye-catching score of 40.

April 29: First Round Championship, Division One saw Shirley Back win with a great score 79. Division Two seen Mhairi Bryce take the honours.

Three teams from Gleddoch also took part in The Ladies’Open Tri-am at Erskine Golf Club. The team of Isabell Donnelly, June Lockhart and Elaine Thom won third prize.

The pairing of Roisin Black and Margaret Adams won their first round match at Skelmorlie in the Daily Mail Foursomes, then lost a very close second round match to Kilmacolm.

The first West Renfrewshire league match was a comprehensive win for Paisley but it was a beautiful evening and the Paisley ladies’hospitality was very much appreciated.
