Speedy youngster wins every race to secure pole position
Young motorbike star Jack Hart made it a perfect 10 wins out of 10 at Knockhill.
The 12-year-old speed sensation, f rom Renfrew, had another fantastic race weekend in the KMSC Championships, leading all five races from start to finish.
It means the Trinity High pupil has won every race in the competition this year and is looking to take his stunning form into the next round as he prepares to travel to Catalunya, Spain, for the European Talent Cup.
He was in control throughout the whole competition at Knockhill, securing the pole position, winning all five races and taking the fastest lap in his class in the final race of the weekend.
He explained: “I hoped to try and get closer to the lap record, so pushed harder for more laps at the start and set my fastest lap.
“I finished in my fastest race time, winning five out of five races.”
Jack said qualifying was an important part of the weekend and gave him the ideal platform to build on.
He explained: “It was really warm weather for qualifying and I wanted to get pole position as the forecast was for it to rain in my races.
“It went perfectly, with me setting a really fast lap at the start, but managing to better it each lap I tried and I got pole position by 1.5 seconds over second place.”
The thrill-seeking youngster faces a busy few weeks as he prepares to take his skills onto the international stage.
He said: “I’m also getting ready for a hectic couple of months. My next race in the FIM CEV European Talent Cup at Catalunya, in Barcelona, the weekend of June 17 and 18.
“In July, I will be racing again in Valencia and then also in Jerez, in Portugal.
“Then I’ve got two rounds in Scotland — one at East Fortune and one at Knockhill.”
Since starting on Minimotos in Scottish and UK Championships at the age of seven, Jack has won lots of races and achieved second place in two separate UK Championships.
