Top role for village activist Lindsay

A member of the Renfrewshire Branch of the Scottish Socialist Party has been elected to serve on the National Executive Committee.

Lindsay Brown is a longterm activist for the SSP and has served on Elderslie Community Council for a number of years.

Sandra Webster, a former national spokesperson for the party and a member of Renfrewshire branch, said: “This is a well- deserved recognition of all of the hard work Lindsay does for the party and for his community.

“I am certain he will bring his skills and hard work to bear at a national level.”
