Charity lines up summer fun for all
An MS charity and a garden centre have teamed up to launch a fun-filled fundraiser.
Revive MS is holding a Summer Fun Day at Dobbies Braehead on Sunday and it promises to be a great day out for all the family.
There will be 50 classic cars on display, with prizes for the winners and a chance to win a new car from Infiniti.
Cara Thom, from MS Revive, said:“We are looking forward to our Summer Fun Day, which will be filled with lots of activities, includes a classic car show, face painting, crafts, food, tombola, raffle and live entertainment.”
There will be a Tunnock’s truck on show, along with a vintage fire engine.
Entertainment will be provided by Richard Mulhearn and his band and there will be a range of stalls.
Animal charity the RSPB will be on hand with children’s activities, including building bee hotels.
There will also be sand art, ceramics and face painting. And for the Star wars fans, there will a number of characters from the blockbuster films available for pictures.
With prizes and tombola available throughout the event, which runs from 10am to 3pm, it promises to be a great day for all, with cash raised going to help provide support to those affected with MS, including patients, carers and family.
