Sponsors come back for more to Stanley Athletic

- Amateur football

Paisley amateur side Stanley Athletic have been boosted by the continued support of two local companies.

The Bankhouse, on Gilmour Street, and Andy Binning’s Paisley Physiotherapy Centre have both pledged their support to the side once again for the upcoming season.

And the new deals have been warmly welcomed by those within the club.

A Stanley spokesman said: “We are delighted that both of our current sponsorship deals with The Bankhouse and Paisley Physiotherapy Centre have been renewed for the coming season.

“This will be our fourth year in partnership with the Bankhouse and we can’t thank them enough for keeping us going with strips, balls, post-match food and thousands of pints over the years.

“This will be our first full season working with Paisley Physiotherapy Centre after starting to use their services midway through last season.

“This deal means all of our players will have any injuries or ailments treated by Andy and his staff and will hopefully keep us fighting fit throughout the season.”

And the club revealed that, despite the support they are receiving, they are still on the hunt for more people to get involved.

A spokesman added: “We are still on the lookout for new sponsorship as well. We would love to hear from anyone interested in working with the club and discussing how we can benefit a business and vice versa.

“Please get in touch through the Facebook page if you would be interested or know anyone else who may be.”
