You can shape future of diabetes care
Diabetes UK is appealing to Buddies to take part in first-of-its-kind research aiming to shape the future of diabetes.
The charity is asking people in communities across Renfrewshire to complete its biggest online survey, designed to discover what really matters to people living with diabetes and their families.
The Future of Diabetes survey seeks to understand the different ways that living with diabetes can impact a person’s life, from healthcare services and medication, to how living with the condition can affect relationships and work and school life.
Diabetes UK wants to understand which issues are most important to people living with diabetes in order to bring about positive change.
Gavin Thomson, campaigns and policymanager at Diabetes Scotland, said: “We often talk to people in communities across Scotland who face challenges in accessing the services, support or information they need to better understand and manage their diabetes.
“This survey offers people in the diabetes community an opportunity to have their say in the changes they want to see for people living with, or at risk of developing, the condition I’d urge everyone who is living with diabetes to make their voice heard.”
