Cast your vote in Braehead Retailer Awards

-

Voting has kicked off in this year’s intu Braehead Retailer Awards – and organisers want shoppers to have their say.

Shona Ross, from Topshop, and Richard Draper, from River Island, have been canvassing for votes using traditional political campaign tactics, including megaphones.

Thousands of shoppers are expected to vote online and on ballot papers available in the mall for six award categories.

These are: World Class Customer Service; Entertainment Venue; Menswear Store; Ladieswear; Footwear and Accessories; Jewellery; Food and Drink Retailer; Health and Beauty and overall Retailer of the Year.

Two categories, Best Use of Marketing and Store Manager of the Year, will be chosen by the intu Braehead management team.

The winners of the awards, in association with McGill’s Buses, will be announced at a ceremony on Sunday, September 10, and these people will go forward to intu’s national Retailer Awards competing against stores from all over the UK. Christine Macdonald, marketing manager at intu Braehead, said:“We give our visitors a great shopping and leisure experience when they come to intu Braehead.

“These awards recognise the stores, leisure attractions, restaurants, bars and cafes that provide such a great service.” ● To vote, log on to www.intu.co.uk/braehead or pick up a voting card from stores, the centre’s customer services desk or the What’s On Boards in the mall.

The closing date for voting is September 4.
