Students give UWS courses top rating for satisfaction
Courses at Paisley’s uni have come top in the UK for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2017.
Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Physics and Law and Business were given the thumbs-up.
The survey saw 100 per cent of respondents studying these four courses state that they were satisfied overall with their course.
This is the seventh year that UWS, which says it is committed to providing a high quality student learning experience, has participated in the NSS.
Bosses said UWS aims to be a sector leader in personalised learning and continues to invest heavily in its learning resources and learning spaces.
Its business links also boost its learning provision and provide students with access to a range of industries.
Professor Craig Mahoney, pr incipal and vicechancellor of UWS, said: “These are extremely positive results for the courses that have been ranked highly and are testament to the hard work of colleagues across the University.
“We always strive to enhance our student experience and each year endeavour to learn from the comments that students make.
“These results clearly demonstrate the progress being made at UWS as we aim to deliver a truly transformational experience for our students and we aim to continue improvement across our portfolio.”
