Bowling club is robbed

Cops are looking to trace a vodka thief who broke into a Paisley bowling club.

The yob targeted the Priorscroft Bowling Club, on Cochran Street on Monday afternoon, pocketing several bottles of spirits.

The suspect was caught on CCTV approaching the club with a large pole at 4.30pm then leaving at 5.15am.

He is described at wearing a gray jogging suit, with dark hair and a medium build. He was also seen carrying bottles of Smirnoff vodka in his pockets.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “I would ask anyone who saw anyone matching the description to get in touch with police in 101.”
