Get involved in new clean-up campaign
Do your bit to improve your community by joining Team Up To Clean Up.
The new engagement sessions have been launched as part of a Renfrewshirewide campaign to tackle issues affecting the environment.
The project, which looks at keeping on top of problems, such as littering, dog fouling, fly tipping and recycling, has been named Team Up To Clean Up.
A spokesperson for the group said:“We would appreciate the input of communities and relevant organisations to assist in directing the campaign and find out what you think will make ita success.”
Members of the public are invited to attend one of the following sessions:
Wednesday, September 13, at Johnstone Town Hall, from 10am till noon.
Thursday, September 14, at Renfrew Town Hall, from 10am till noon.
Friday, September 15, at Renfrewshire House, from 10am till noon and from 1pm to 3pm.
The sessions will look at the main issues affecting the cleanliness of streets, why problems occur and how to change public attitudes to prevent careless littering.
Sessions are limited to 30 attendees maximum and admission is free.
