Scottish call-ups for rising star Ethan
St Mirren’s Ethan Erhahon has been named in the Scotland Under-17s squad for two international challenge matches away to Wales this month.
Erhahon has already caught the eye of Saints boss Jack Ross, who recently named him in the squad for the League Cup clash with Partick Thistle. THe 16-year-old had to settle for a spot on the bench but was one the youngest players in recent memory to be included in a match day squad.
There are also first call-ups for Lewis Fiorini of Manchester City and Aidan Fitzpatrick of Partick Thistle.
The squad features 13 Scottish FA JD Performance School pupils including a large number of players who played in the International Tournament in England last month.
The tournament will act as preparation for the Under-17 European Championship qualifying round in Estonia where they will play the hosts as well as Andorra and Denmark. Goalkeepers: Archie Mair (Aberdeen), Ryan Mullen (Celtic). Defenders: Jack Armer (Preston North End), Gregor Donald (St Johnstone), Chris Hamilton (Heart of Midlothian), Kane O’Connor (Hibernian), Nathan Patterson (Rangers), Taylor Wilson (Hamilton Academical).
