Can you help with council’s website?

-

Adults in Barrhead and Neilston are being asked to help improve East Renfrewshire Council’s website.

If you are 18 or older, live in the area and can spare 45 minutes of your time, then local authority bosses want to hear from you.

And as a thank you for their time, people will be given a £10 high street voucher.

There is no need to be great with computers or the internet to take part.

A range of people are being sought in a bid to make sure the website works well for everyone.

During the website testing session, people will be asked to carry out some tasks. This might include finding specific information, completing an online form or answering questions about their experience.

It’s not a test of ability, bosses stress, but to find out about people’s experience of using the website.

The council will record the feedback of everyone who takes part to identify any common problems and to find ways of resolving them.

The sessions will take place with a member of East Renfrewshire’s web team and should last no longer than 45 minutes.

People can take a break at any time during the session.

To register for one of the testing sessions, fill out a short form with your details and preferred time slot at www. eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk
