saw Gleniffer Hotel record their first win of the season with a hard-fought 5-4 scoreline away to Railway Inn.

The result sees Gleniffer climb into sixth place and record the only away win of the week in the division.

In the Second Division there are also a number of undefeated teams, with Hazel Arms climbing five places to take the lead in the Division after a whitewash home 9-0 victory over Flying Horse B.

Joining the Hazel team on points and just behind by two legs are Inkerman Bowling Club and Tartan Rose.

Inkerman secured the position after a 7-2 away result at Hazel Pirates while Tartan Rose had the same margin of victory in a home win against Court Bar B, putting the Court Bar B team down five places from their previous second place into seventh.

The last of the teams on full points is Cafuffals, as they got their points after dispatching the previous week’s league leaders from The Kelburn with a score of 6-3.

The defeat means that The Kelburn also lose five places in table and drop to sixth place.

With these teams losing so many places there are obviously winners elsewhere, and that was the case for Pockets Black as they climbed five places in the table after they lodged a home win, courtesy of a 6-3 score against the new team from Kelburne Cricket Club.

Hazel Pirates B recorded their first win of the season as they travelled to Keystone B and returned with both points after a thrilling 5-4 win, with the win propelling the team four places up the table into eighth place.

There were 19 scores of 180 recorded in the league games played on Monday with the star of the night being Paul Hanvidge, hitting three maximums.

There were 14 games finished in 18 darts or under, with the pick of these being a 15-dart leg from Flying Horse A’s Jamie ‘Bravedart’ Harvey.

The highest finish of the four checkouts over 100 this week went to Court Bar’s Alex McAllister who finished his game on a 130 takeout.

Next week sees teams go back to cup action as they play out the last 16 stage of the Paisley and District League Cup.

The ties are: Pockets Red v Court Bar, Arthurlie Inns v Railway Inn, Hazel Pirates v Burgh Bar, Pickwicks v Gleniffer Hotel, Pockets Black v St. Peter’s, Hagg Bar A v Keystone B, Inkerman BC v Flying Horse B and Court Bar B v Hazel Pirates B.

In the First Division the table is now headed by Hagg Bar A
