Paisley Women’s Bowling Association rounded off their season in sterling fashion with their annual finals day.

And there were winners crowned in a number of competition as the year was rounded off with a fantastic afternoon of play.
Victoria Bowling Club’s Lorraine Clark was crowned the singles winner on the day, while Meikleriggs clinched the pairs title.
Tess Spence and Joan Tomlinson took the title for Meikleriggs as they saw off Ferguslie BC by a scoreline of 24-5.
Meanwhile, Charleston BC took the two bowl pairs competition, defeating Victoria 22-20 thanks to some fine bowls from Rena Adam and June Campbell.
The bowls contined throughout the day, and Charleston continued picking up the silverware as they took the triples title at the expense of Anchor.
Mairi Brown, Margaret Taylor and Jean Gordon sealed the 19- 16 win. Charleston also took the fours trophy with Anne Gordon, Margaret Ronald, Sandra Pollock and May Ferguson winning 18-9 against the hosts Hawkhead.
And Charleston rounded off their success by claiming the Fletcher Salver and the Kenneth Keegan Trophy, with Anne Gordon receiving the silverware from Graeme Andrews from Kenneth Keegan Funeral Directors and PWBA president Jean Williamson.
