Festival fun for everyone
Don’t miss the exciting series of cultural screenings and exhibitions that are being held in Paisley.
Make the most of the week-long string of events taking place at St Matthews Church as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival (SMHAFF).
Supported by Paisley 2021, St Matthew’s Presents is a nouveau arts experience designed to increase cultural capacity, develop new audiences and expand the use of the church’s facilities.
Tonight features Dykebar and Me, created by members of the long-term recovery group at Dykebar Hospital, from 7pm to 9pm.
Tomorrow is a screening of the much-loved tale, Beauty and the Beast, featuring Emma Watson as Belle.
The family-friendly event takes place from 11am to 2pm.
It’s adults only on Sunday, as the action flick, Hackshaw Ridge, will be screened at 7pm.
Then on October 23, from 11am to 3pm, you can enjoy Nouveau Life.
This is a family-friendly exhibition of the artistry and heritage of St Matthew’s created by those who know the building best.
And lastly check out Luv Esther, a powerful musical based on the life of a young refugee, which is on from 7.30pm.
