Race night thanks
Renfrew FC Under-21s recently held a successful race night at the Kirklandneuk Community Centre, which helped raise funds towards the cost of new kit for the team.
A club spokesman said:“A big thank you to everyone who attended and special thanks to Sue and her team at the centre
The young Renfrew team are currently playing in the West of Scotland (Premier Division) – their first season in the top league after promotion last year.
They have recorded league wins over Ashfield, Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, St Mungo’s; Whitletts Victoria, while drawing against Barrhead YFC and losses to Rutherglen Glencairn and Harmony Row leave the team currently sitting in fourth position in the league.
