Four face pub fight charges

-

Four people joined in a punch- up in Renfrew’s Western Bar, it has been claimed.

Donna Kerr, 35, and Lindsay Ann McKinna, 31, both of the town’s Mitchell Avenue, and Linda McKinnon, 35, and Taylor Sutherley, 19, both of Brail Drive, Renfrew, are alleged to have engaged in a stand-up fight while acting with others.

The four are said to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear and alarm to others in the Hairst Street pub on July 31.

When the case against them was called at Paisley Sheriff Court this week, Kerr and Sutherley denied the offence, McKinna lodged a guilty plea and the case against McKinnon was continued without plea until January 31.

Sheriff Simon Fraser set a trial date for April 10, with a pre- trial intermediate diet to take place on March 13, and deferred sentence on McKinna to be dealt with, along with her co-accused.
