Firms can win the chance to sponsor Ferguslie Cricket Club

- Craig Ritchie

Ferguslie Cricket Club is offering the chance for local businesses to become their new shirt sponsor.

The Meikleriggs side are in preparations for the new WDCU season, but also provide opportunities for anyone to play cricket, no matter age or ability.

The club run three senior teams and four junior teams each of which play in national, regional and local competitions.

But Ferguslie Cricket Club are now seeking a new shirt sponsor for 2018 and are running a sponsorship draw to find a winner.

The club reckon the sponsorship draw is an ideal opportunity to support the work of Ferguslie Cricket Club and have the opportunity of having your company name and logo printed on the front of all their playing shirts for 2018.

Entry not only offers the opportunity to have a company name and logo on all of the side’s playing shirts, but it also includes: the company name and logo on a multi sponsor board which will be displayed on the side of the pavilion; a link on their website to your company’s website; social media mentions from the club’s Facebook and Twitter pages, and inclusion within a press release issued to local media outlets.

Entry tickets are priced as follows: one ticket: £30, two tickets: £50, three tickets: £60.

The draw will take place on Saturday, March 24, at 6pm.

A club spokesman added: “This is a great opportunity for organisations of any size to get involved and have your brand, products, or services, associated with local and national cricket in Scotland – which is still the country’s fastest growing summer sport.”
