Break-in probe by cops
Police are investigating a break-in at home in Paisley after the owner found her front door had been forced.
The 34- year- old left her house in Ferguslie Walk locked and secured at 7.40am on Tuesday morning but returned to find it ajar at around 7.30pm that night.
Police say nothing appears to have been taken during the breaking but that the door had been damaged and items had been moved around.
A spokeswoman said: “The door of the house had been forced open and damaged. At this stage nothing appears to have been stolen. It may be that the suspect was disturbed.
“If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the Ferguslie Walk area of Paisley on Tuesday, then I would urge you to contact police.”
