Go back to the eighties

Renfrewshire revellers can go back to the eighties in aid of a local women fighting cancer.

Lochbarr Services is hosting an eighties disco to raise money for Women v Cancer.

Movers and shakers can head to the Lochwinnoch function suite on March 23 for the disco which kicks off at 8pm.

Promising the best tunes from the decade, with everything from rock to euro- pop, organisers are encouraging fancy dress with prizes for the best-dressed on the night.

Staff at a local beauty salon, Boutique 71, are also helping out.

For every customer who asks for a neon polish on their nails between now and the disco, the salon on High Street will donate £3 to Women v Cancer.

Tickets for the 80s disco cost £ 10 and can be purchased from Lochbarr Services or Boutique 71.
