Step out for charity
A family-friendly charity walk that helps those with muscle wasting conditions has released details about its 2018 event.
Muscular Dystrophy UK is hosting Move a Mile for Muscles on September 15 at 12pm.
Participants can run, walk, jog or skip one mile round the Castle Semple visitor centre at Lochwinnoch. Fully accessible, the walk allows people with a connection to muscular dystrophy to meet up and make new friends.
Costumes are encouraged with a prize on the day for the best dressed walker.
Following the sponsored event will be a host of games, stalls and activities including face painting for everyone to enjoy.
Those wanting to take part can register individually or as part if a team.
It costs £2.50 for children to enter, £5 for adults and £10 for family passes.
