Abbey hosts day of prayer

Paisley Abbey will be the venue for a gathering for the World Day of Prayer.

This year people will be praying for women in Suriname, single women who have to provide for many children, and about areas of concern such as rivers poisoned by mercury, suicide, domestic violence, child sexual abuse, support and provision for the disabled and those with mental health issues.

The event will take place on Friday, March 2, at 2pm.

There will also be Bible study on Monday, February 19, at 11am in Central Baptist Church, Lady Lane, Paisley.
