One of the UK’s most successful and renowned tribute bands is playing at an iconic Paisley venue. The Complete Stone Roses are gearing up for a gig at The Bungalow Bar in the town centre. Hosted by NNE Presents, the group will take to the stage on Saturday, March 24. Selling out venues across the UK and Ireland regularly,The Complete Stone Roses have helped to carry on the music of one of the country’s most influential bands – The Stone Roses.
Famous for hits including Fools Gold, I Am The Resurrection and I Wanna Be Adored, that are as recognisable now as were the heyday of Madchester and the Hacienda, The Stone Roses played a pivotal role in the history of the UK’s indie music scene.
Set to go down a storm with Buddies this month, the band has received acclaim from original Stone Roses band members.
Bass player Mani has not only just appeared as a warm-up DJ for the band on the odd occasion but has also played onstage with them as their guest playing She Bangs The Drums.
Mani said: “They do our songs real justice.
“At times, they play even better than we did”.
