Driver was six times the limit
A driver has been busted after she took to the roads more than six times the drink-drive limit.
Renata Jurczenia, 31, downed booze before she got behind the wheel of a Ford Mondeo.
Cops revealed she took to busy streets near Renfrew town centre before she was nabbed.
The motorist admitting drink-driving when the case called at Paisley Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Susan Sinclair called for checks into her welfare before sentencing.
She said:“What I am going to do is call for a criminal justice social work report.
“That means you will be seen by social workers, probably twice.
“They will ask you about your background.”
Jurczenia was collared after cops breath-tested her after she took to Canal Street.
She blew a reading of 139 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath – the limit is 22.
Defence lawyer Gordon Ritchie gave no explanation for his client’s behaviour.
The driver faces a mandatory 12-month road ban when she returns for sentencing next month. The court can also impose a fine up to £5,000.
Jurczenia, of Craigielea Road, was ordered to return on April 6.
