A helping hand for all

-

The Star Project is an award-winning community organisation in Wallace Street in Paisley town centre.

Since it was established in 1999, staff have been working to deliver sustainable and positive social outcomes to build safer, more connected and resilient families and communities.

Those who seek help or support from the Star Project have access to one-to-one meetings, counselling, befriending services and drop-in centres.

The project also offers a number of classes and workshops in drama, art, outdoor pursuits and more.

Participants can do their bit to give back to the local community too, through the centre’s partnership with Renfrewshire Council.

If you know someone who would benefit from the services offered by the Star Project you can call 0141 889 5850 or email enquiries@ star-project.org.uk.

Anyone is welcome to go to the project’s drop-in centre which runs Monday to Thursday from 9am till 1.30pm.

The Wee Stars toddler group takes place every Tuesday from 10am till 12pm.

Families in Glenburn can access the same drop-in service at Glenburn Community Centre every Tuesday from 12pm till 3pm.
