Care home is a cut above the rest following inspectorate report
It’s top marks for kindness, courtesy and respect at one local care home after receiving a glowing report from inspectors.
HC- One Hillside View Care Home, in Paisley, is celebrating its impressive Care inspectorate report.
Scoring high in the two categories of assessment Care and Support and Management and Leadership, staff and residents are over the moon with the results.
Home manager Alison McPherson told the Express:“We are delighted with this report.
“It is testament to the hard work that each and every member of the team puts in day in, day out.”
The Care Inspectorate’s report singled out staff for particular praise, noting that they were kind, thoughtful and attentive.
It also highlighted that colleagues have good relationships with residents, and are able to provide person-centerd support based on their knowledge of individuals’ needs and preferences.
Relatives described the top team as courteous, cheerful and caring.
One family member said: “All of the staff treat my relative with care, dignity, humour, respect and love.”
Another added: “I am very happy with the care and support my relative receives at this care home.
“They are a fabulous group of people who are lead by a great manager”.
