Arrest warrant for pervert

-

A creep is being hunted after he dodged sentencing for trying to lure schoolgirls into his car.

Paul McFadyen, 55, was found guilty of begging the youngsters to get into his motor and was placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register.

But he failed to turn up when he was due back in the dock to learn his fate at Paisley Sheriff Court.

Defence lawyer Peter Galletly admitted there was no excuse for the fiend’s noshow.

He said: “There’s no explanation. He’s not been in touch to explain there’s a difficulty. I’m surprised.”

McFadyen tried to coax a girl, 14, into his silver grey Nissan Juke while she was walking down Paisley’s Barrhead Road.

He asked her name and repeatedly pleaded for her home address during the ordeal in March 2016.

The weirdo pulled up next to another teenager in nearby Causeyside Street weeks later.

But she told him to “f** k off ” and branded him a “pervy b*****d”.

Prosecutor Claire Nicholls previously told how the younger teen was making her way to school when McFadyen pounced.

She said: “There were attempts to entice both females into the vehicles, which resulted in one female getting into his vehicle.

“This was a 14- yearold female who was unaccompanied and who was making her way to school.

“In the other instance, the female was walking down the street when she became aware of him.

“She feared he was going to grab her and get her into his car.

“There are significant sexual aspects involving both charges, therefore he should be placed on the register.”

McFadyen was cleared of sexually assaulting the 14- year- old by putting his hands on her body.

Sentence was adjourned for reports.

The beast was due back in the dock this week.

Sheriff David Pender issued an arrest warrant when McFadyen, of Lylesland Court, failed to appear.
