Rowdy dodges prison

-

A yob who sparked a rammy with cops after blaring music at home has been spared jail.

Kenneth Hamilton, 36, elbowed and jostled a policeman probing complaints about noise.

He lashed out just weeks after threatening to blow up his former fiancée’s flat.

Hamilton admitted obstructing police and struggling violently with officers when he appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court.

Defence lawyer Mark Chambers admitted his client lost control.

He said: “The police suggested the word ‘f**k’ was used. His perception at the time was that the police were acting unlawfully towards him. He felt he was treated unfairly.”

The court heard police were called to Hamilton’s flat in Paisley’s Newton Terrace last September 30.

They asked him to quieten down, but he kicked off.

The thug was lifted earlier in the month for trashing then wife-to-be Nicola Forsyth’s home in nearby Anchor Crescent.

He scrawled insults on her mirrors, trashed her kitchen, smashed a glass door, ripped up her clothes and turned on the gas hobs, claiming he was going to torch the building.

The brute was ordered to pay £250 compensation and told to carry out 200 hours unpaid work after admitting the offence.

Hamilton was charged over the ordeal and told cops: “I don’t know what happened – it was like Donald Trump pushed the red button.”

The bully was issued with non- harrassment order banning him from contacting the woman or her daughter for at least a year.

Sheriff Susan Sinclair slapped him with another 80 hours of community service for the latest drama.
