Detectives hunting a hooded fiend who sexually assaulted a teenager returned to the scene a week on in a bid trace fresh witnesses.
Officers spoke with around 40 people outside the On-X Sports Centre in Linwood, close to where a 14-year-old girl was attacked.
The teen had been with a group of friends in a wooded area close to the sports centre but became separated from them as she returned alone to collect a lost item, on Saturday, April 21.
She was then subjected to a sickening ordeal by a man who is described as in his early 20s with dark stubble. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top and trousers.
A major police investigation was launched after she made it home and told her mother.
Officers returned to the scene of the incident, close to Brediland Road, on Saturday night and spoke to around 40 people in the area as they hunt the culprit.
Detective Inspector Ian Ross, who leads the Renfrewshire Rape Investigation Unit, hopes the scene revisit has wielded new lines of inquiry.
He said: “A team of officers is continuing to work on this investigation and are studying a large amount of CCTV footage that has been gathered from the local area to gain further information on the man responsible.
“Again, I would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident last week who may have seen anything suspicious, or who may have seen a young man fitting this description to come forward.
“Any information that may assist in identifying this man can be passed to officers based at Paisley through 101 or alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
Extra patrols have also been put in place in the area since the incident as officers work to reassure the public.
