Top indie tribute acts are the talk of the town

I conic indie music is descending on Paisley for an all-day extravagan­za.

Be Here Now is the town’s first indie festival.

This autumn a variety of top tribute acts will take over Paisley Town Hall for the highly-anticipate­d event.

Buddies can look forward to hearing a number of great bands.

Ocean Colour Scheme recreate the classic sounds of Ocean Colour Scene with an attention to detail often missed by tributes.

This band promise a true “close your eyes and it could be the real thing” experience.

Bringing Primal Scream to the stage are Loaded who deliver all the hits with a big band sound.

Backed by brass, percussion and backing vocalists, the group have been ensuring audiences get their “Rocks” off to the classic anthems of Bobby Gillespie’s legendary indie rockers

Local talent The Muldoons reformed in 2017 and, after a sell out comeback gig at Paisleys Bungalow and a headline gig at Glasgow’s legendary King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, they’re back for Be Here Now.

Oasis fans will be pleased to hear that the UK’s leading tribute to the music of iconic songwriter Noel Gallagher, God Like Genius, are also on the bill.

Promising a journey from early Oasis classics through to High Flying Birds anthems, the six- piece do justice to the songs that defined a generation.

Madchester vibes will reverberat­e through the town hall thanks to Happy Mondaze.

Guaranteei­ng a party like no other, the Mondaze promise to transport you back to Manchester’s musical heyday and the birth of rave culture.

Buddies can then bang the drums to a set from The Complete Stone Roses.

This group sell out venues across the UK and Ireland and have helped to carry on the music of one of the UK’s most influentia­l bands, The Stone Roses. Tickets cost £22.50.

Fool’s Gold Indie Clubnite will then provide music and live visuals to have crowds dancing into the small hours.
