Park ban over sex attack charge

A man has been banned from a park over claims he sexually assaulted a teenage girl.

Carlo Nani, 41, is charged with attacking the 16-year-old in Renfrew’s Robertston Park.

He is also accused of trying to tempt a primary school pupil back to his house.

Nani denied the allegations during a hearing at Paisley Sheriff Court.

Prosecutors claim he groped the teen on Saturday.

Sheriff Colin Pettigrew bailed him but ordered him to keep away from the beauty spot.

Nani, of Paisley Road, is expected to stand trial in August.
