Discount offer for Paisley 10k and fun run

Runners hoping to sign up for this year’s Paisley 10k road race will need to be quick off the mark to take advantage of an early-bird offer.

This year’s race takes places on Sunday, August 19, with runners of all abilities welcome to take part.

There is also a 3k fun run for the less serious runner and children to join in.

And organisers Renfrewshire Leisure are hoping to entice people to sign up now with an earlybird discount offer, which finishes on Thursday, May 31.

Normal entry cost for the 10k is £18, with an early-bird discount of £16.

Adults taking part in the fun run will pay £8, or £6 with discount, and children are just £5 or £3 with a discount.

Adults and children signing up together will pay a combined cost of £10, or £8 early-bird offer.

The 2017 Road Race was the most successful event to date, with more that 3,500 people racing round the streets of Paisley.

For the fourth year in a row, Macmillan Cancer Support is the race’s official charity partner.

Online entries close at noon on Friday, August 17, and there will be no entries available on race day.
