Clowning around at intu Braehead

-

Roll up, roll up for the chance to learn some of the tricks of the circus trade.

Free family fun events are being staged in Soar at intu Braehead and visitors can learn how to be a circus performer with a masterclass from experts of the ring.

The event runs until Monday between noon and 4pm inside Soar across from the Ellis Brigham store.

The new intu family club is also being launched at Soar this weekend.

Families will be able to take part in activities especially arranged for both children and adults together throughout the year.

This May Bank Holiday weekend at Soar also gives visitors the chance to take part in giant games, including Connect 4, Jenga, Snakes and Ladders, Noughts and Crosses and Kerplunk.

There will also be some nostalgic fun as several spacehoppers will be available for both children and adults to bounce along a specially set out track. The spacehopper toys were massively popular in the late 1970s and 80s.

Christine Macdonald, marketing manager at intu Braehead, said: “We love welcoming families to intu Braehead and it’s great to see the kids and the grown-ups having fun together.

“Not only do we have a fantastic weekend of fun and games lined up for everyone at Soar, but our new intu family club is something we’re really looking forward to.

“Members of the club will benefit from a host of exclusive benefits, gifts, inspirational ideas and opportunities to enjoy quality time together as a family here at intu Braehead.”
