Hunt on for three yobs after flat attack

Police are hunting three yobs who attacked a man in a Paisley flat before fleeing in a car.

The 25- year- old victim suffered a gash to the back of his head during a disturbanc­e at the Renfrew Road flat in the Gallowhill area of Paisley.

It is understood the trio arrived at the house around 9am on Sunday in a blue car and seriously assaulted the man before speeding off.

The victim did not require hospital treatment for the injury to his head.

All three suspects who turned up at the door are described as white men.

The first was around 6ft tall and was wearing a grey hoody, the second was 5ft10ins, and was wearing a dark hooded top

And the third was around 5ft3ins and was wearing a dark jacket and jeans.

Detective Inspector Ross MacDonald, from Paisley CID, appealed for witnesses to the incident come forward.

He said: “A 25- year- old male was seriously assaulted by three male suspects during a disturbanc­e at a property in Renfrew Road at 9am on Sunday morning.

“The victim received a laceration to the rear of his head but did not require hospital treatment.

“Three males attended the address and there was an altercatio­n between them and the victim. They made off from the scene in a blue car, which may have been a Mazda.

“All three suspects are described as white males. The first was 6ft tall, and was wearing a grey hoody, the second was 5ft10ins, and was wearing a dark hooded top.

“And the third is described as being 5ft3ins and wearing a dark jacket and jeans.”
