Attack witnesses sought

Police have urged people who came to the aid of an assault victim to come forward.

A 24-year-old woman was attacked in Houston Square, in Johnstone, around 9.30pm on Sunday.

Officers want to speak to two people who stopped their car to help her.

A Po l i c e S c o t l a n d spokeswoman said: “Officers are keen to speak to anyone with any information and also two members of the public who got out of a car to assist the female.”
