HEARTACHE FOR BROTHER AS POLICE PROBE GOES ON

The distraught brother of missing Paisley woman Patti Henry believes she has been murdered.

Stephen Henry, who has not seen his sister for more than six months, told the Paisley Daily Express he fears the worst.

He said: “I know she’s been murdered. I know she’s dead.

“I’ve dreamt about this. I think about it 24 hours day and I’ve put myself in every position she might

have been in.

“I’ve been though it all. My head is absolutely destroyed. I know she’s dead.”

Detectives launched a major missing person inquiry after mum-of-one Patti went missing, including searching a house in Burnfoot Crescent, Paisley, where she used to live.

Specialist search teams have scoured the property and back garden looking for clues about the 46-year-old mum’s whereabouts.

Neighbours described seeing forensic teams digging in the garden, but Stephen, 44, says cops assured him that was not the case.

He added: “She’s not in that garden.”

Stephen described his sister as a “lovable rogue” who would do anything for anyone.

“Patti was the golden child of the two of us. I was always the rogue, and Patti was the golden child,” he added.

“She was a lovable rogue and sometimes a pain in the a**e. And that is the best way to describe her. That’s why we loved her.

“She would do anything for you, I swear to God.

“My mother just wants her up the road. My maw just wants to die, she just keeps hanging on for this.”

The police maintain they are still treating it a missing person’s inquiry, but have not ruled out the possibility that Patti has come to harm.

They are carrying out searches of a property in Girvan where she moved October last year.

Her daughter Alannah, 18, made an emotional appeal earlier this month asker her mum to get in touch.

Patti is described as white, 5ft 10ins in height, of slim build and has collar length brown hair.

She has a tattoo of two clouds, outlined in blue, with a red rose and green stem with the word ‘Patti’ on her left arm
