St Mirren

St Mirren are looking for an eagle- eyed scout to help unearth the new Kyle Magennis or Jack Baird.

The club is looking to appoint a new Youth Academy talent spotter for the new season as they look to enhance their recruitment.

Saints’academy has enjoyed success in recent years, bringing through the likes of Kyle McAllister, Stevie Mallan and Lewis Morgan.

Anyone interested in applying should contact Saints’head of recruitment Alan Upton by emailing alanupton@btinternet.com supplying your full details including any previous scouting experience.

All successful candidates will be required to undergo a full PVG check.

Closing date for applications is July 30.

St Mirren, meanwhile, have announced that season ticket sales are up 29 per cent compared to this time last year.

The club is now on its way to selling more than 4,000 season tickets which is half the capacity of the Simple Digital Arena.

Club bosses have already said that this season could be the last where both Old Firm clubs get both stands behind the goal.

Season tickets have remained the same price since 2015 and there is also a new 18 to 21-year-old ticket package.

Season tickets for adults start from £235 and kids start from £25 putting the club amongst the ones offering best value for money in the Premiership.
