Fresh appeal in hunt for missing Patti

-

Detectives probing the disappearance of Paisley mum Patti Henry yesterday issued a fresh appeal.

Friday marks eight months to the day she was last seen – on November 13.

The 46-year-old has had no contact with her friends of family since and fears are growing for her safety.

The mum-of-one moved to Girvan in October and officers have been out speaking to people in the seaside town in a renewed effort to trace her.

Specialist cops have been a carrying out an extensive search of a property in Burnfoot Crescent, in the Glenburn area of Paisley, belonging to a close friend of Patti’s.

Sniffer dogs have been in the flat and items of furniture have been removed.

Officers say they are still treating the investigation as a missing person inquiry but have not ruled out foul play.

Detective Chief Inspector Suzanne Chow said: “Extensive efforts to trace Patricia are still ongoing and this was a really worthwhile initiative. I am also taking the opportunity to reiterate earlier appeals for anyone with information about Patricia’s movements or current whereabouts.”

Patti lived in the Paisley area before she relocated to Girvan in October last year.

She is described as white, 5ft 10ins in height, of slim build and has shoulder length hair that is usually tied back.

She has a tattoo of two clouds, outlined in blue, with a red rose and green stem with the word ‘Patti’ on her left arm. She usually wears a denim jacket.

If y o u h av e any information, you should contact police on 101.
