Spotlight on Clare at arts centre
Paisley Arts Centre’s artist in residence Clare McGarry is hosting a day all about her exciting show Cosmopot.
She describes Cosmopot as a magical place full of bubbles, star gazing and teapots.
Taking the teapot constellation of Sagittarius as inspiration, Cosmopot is a multi-sensory show suitable for all children aged five to eight years old.
The play day is open to artists at all stages in their career and is suitable for theatre makers, choreographers, musicians and visual artists.
Participants will get the chance to play with a wide range of sensory materials, devise narratives around sensory materials, collaborate with other artists, consider performer/ audience relationship when using sensory materials, and discuss best practice for inclusive work and appropriate levels of interaction in performance.
Places on the July 20 play day are free but limited and should be booked by emailing applications@ imaginate.org.uk
