Pups can chill out at real snow ski slope

-

Hot dogs will be chilling out when they take to an real snow ski slope.

Braehead Soar bosses are inviting pets onto the white stuff to help beat the heat.

The centre boasts the only indoor course in Scotland with real snow.

An organiser said: “With all the hot weather, dogs have been feeling a little hot under the collar.

“The Snow Dogz play session will be hosted in a safe and secure play area on our slope.

“These pre-booked sessions ensure your dogs can simply chill, play and roll around in lovely fresh snow out of the heat.”

Owners must be on the snow with their animals during the play session. They must be kept on leads, with bags in case of accidents.

Warm weather is to continue in Renfrewshire over the next week. Temperatures will remain around 20°C.

Cloud will provide some cover, with sunny spells expected throughout days.

Experts say it will be humid, with some showers over the weekend.

A Met Office spokesman said: “Saturday will be cloudy with a little rain.

“It will be a little brighter on Sunday though still some showery rain especially later.

“Monday should be brighter with some sunshine and the odd shower.”

The fun takes part from 11am to 1pm. Entry costs £5.
